Anna Bea Vittitoe, 82, died Tuesday, December 8, 1987, at the Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley.

“Bea” was born in Bellflower, Illinois, to Samuel Braxton and Julie (McNerney) Hudson on December 13, 1904.

Bea was a former resident of Modale. She lived in Council Bluffs for about five years.

She then moved to Blair in May, 1967.

Bea was a member of the Legion of Mary.

She worked as an aide and in central supply at the Community Memorial Hospital, Missouri Valley, for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; James and Elaine Cleaver of Modale; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one niece, Shirley Adams of Blair, and daughter-in-law, Marie Cleaver of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter W. Vittitoe, and one son Clifford Cleaver.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 1987, in the Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Iowa, with Father Frank Cordero officiating.

Rosary services will be held 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
