Services Are On Tuesday For John Vittitoe

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, at Campbell Funeral Home for John “Jack” Vittitoe, 62, who died October 22, 1983, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Dr. Gordon Patterson will officiate. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.

John “Jack” Vittitoe was born in Modale, Iowa, May 1, 1921, to Bruce and Mabel Conyers Vittitoe. He was a school bus driver.

He is survived by three children, Russ, Atchison, Kansas; Sandy, Atchison, Kansas; and Kay Nieman, Lancaster, Kansas. Five sisters, Mrs. Ted (Janice) Snodgrass, Hammon, Oklahoma; Mrs. George (Jean) Good, Blair; Mrs. George (Beverly) Ryan, Blair; Mrs. Fred (Frances) Belli, Fairfield, California; and Mrs. Paul (Phyllis) Smith, Reno, Nevada; and one brother, Donald Vittitoe, Corning, California, also survive him.

Pallbearers will be George Good, Bobby Kephart, George Olsen, Jr., George Ryan, William Ryan and Ted Snodgrass.

Campbell Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
