Funeral services were Saturday, September 8, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Lincoln for Mary Vondenkamp, 83, of Lincoln who died September 4, 1990, in Lincoln. Rev. Peter Gadient officiated. Burial was in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mary Godbout Vondenkamp was born March 7, 1907 in Axtell, Kansas. She married William Vondenkamp.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Lincoln.

She is survived by her husband, William; four sons, James of Akron, Ohio; Gerald of Arlington; Paul of Beatrice; and Richard of Omaha; two daughters, Ruby Wepler of Silver Lake, Ohio, and Marlene Straughan of Golden, Colorado; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.

Burtherus-Maser-Love Funeral Home in Lincoln was in charge of arrangements for the services.
