Joanne Carroll

Joanne Carroll, 82, of Blair died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joanne Carroll was born on December 28, 1929, in Omaha. She was raised in Omaha and graduated from Omaha Technical High School. On February 28, 1953, she married Theodore E. Carroll in Omaha. In 1959, the family moved to Blair.

The couple enjoyed being part of the Blair Farmers Market over the years, where she would sell her jelly, jams, pies and bread.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Pattianne Carroll of Blair; Michael and Jannette Carroll of Council Bluffs, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Terri Carroll of Dorchester; 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; son, Patrick; and brothers and sisters.
