Lorraine Smith, 90

Lorraine Smith, 90, of Herman, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Visitation will be Friday, December 21, beginning at 5 p.m. at the church with a rosary at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Blair.

Lorraine Perina was born September 23, 1922, to Stanley and Emily Perina in Omaha.

She was past president of CCW and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

On June 19, 1943, she married Frank Smith in Omaha.

She is survived by her husband, Frank of Herman; son, Robert of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Nick Rasmussen of Omaha; daughter-in-law, Kathy Smith of Herman; grandchildren, Pam Coppock, Lori Skinner and Jason Rasmussen; three great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Perina of Omaha; and sister, Lucille McCoy of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Smith; grandson, Randy Smith; and brother, Robert Perina.

Memorials may be directed to the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church Building Fund.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
