Services for Vivian H. Wild, 91 of Fremont who died November 27, 1992 at Arbor Manor in Fremont were Monday, November 30 at the First Baptist Church in Fremont. Rev. Richard Holmen officiated. Burial was in Platteville Cemetery southwest of Fremont in Saunders County.

Vivian H. Monteen was born January 11, 1901 in Mead, Nebraska to Swedish immigrant parents. She lived in the Mead and Wahoo, Nebraska areas and attended Luther Junior College in Wahoo. She taught school for two years at Wausa, Nebraska and two years in Saunders County.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had played piano at her former churches for over 50 years. She also taught piano.

She married Ervin R. Wild January 19, 1924 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They farmed in Saunders County. He preceded her in death March 24, 1979.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Hope Wild of Longmont, Colorado; Kenneth and Marguerite Wild of Valley; Charles and Colleen Wild of Fremont and Fred and Shirley Wild of Blair; a son, Herbert Wild of North Kansas City, Missouri; nine grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to the First Baptist Church in Fremont.
