Mary Margaret Jipp Wilderson 84, formerly of Fort Calhoun, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, in Chula Visa, Calif.

Mary Jipp Wilderson was born March 10, 1936*, to William Carl Frederick Jipp and Marie Hermana Schumacher Jipp in Fort Calhoun. After her mother passed away, her father married Christine Feer Vlasak.

In 1936*, Mary Jipp married Charles F. “Bud” Wilderson, and they later moved to Chula Vista, Calif.

She was very proud of her Nebraska childhood. She was a loyal “cornhusker” and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna, Fail and Karen, and two sons, Jack and Jeff, all of California; and three brothers, Art Jipp and George Jipp, both of Blair, and Ernie Jipp of Santee, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1961; brothers, Doot, Frank, Fritz, Max and Arnie Jipp, and a sister, Helen Jipp Gregerson.
