Services for Maxine Wiley, 79 of Blair who died at Memorial Community Hospital Oct. 29 will be 1 p.m. Thurs. Oct 31 at Country Bible Church, Additional services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at the Haigler Methodist Church in Haigler, Nebr. with burial in the Haigler Cemetery.

Maxine R. Wiley was born June 29, 1917 at Atwood, Kansas to Claude and Minnie Swartwood Martin. She attended school in Atwood, Kansas and Haigler.

She married Benjamin Wiley in Atwood Aug. 16, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1965.

She lived in Omaha and in Blair since 1966.

She attended Country Bible Church in Blair.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Claudine and Randy Sterner, Arlington; a grandson, Luke J. Cochran; two great-grandchildren, Wendi and Zachary; step-grandchildren, Jeff Sterner and his wife, Deann and Tony Sterner and a special great-granddaughter, Sametha Ross.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Services in Haigler are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in Benkelman, Nebr.
