Margaret J. Wilkins, 93

Former Blair resident Margaret J. Wilkins, 93, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, in Lincoln.

Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 25, at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Margaret Jessie (Jones) Wilkins was born Nov. 18, 1911, in Oscaloosa, Iowa, to Donald B. and Ethel F. (Bigelow) Jones.

On April 3, 1929, she married Albert E. Wilkins in Sioux City, Iowa. The couple made their home in Blair for a few years, and later moved to Irvington and Omaha, before moving to Grand Island in 1946.

She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Muhs of Crete; four grandchildren and their spouses; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
