Carl M. Williams, 69

Former Blair resident Carl M. Williams, 69, of Skidmore, Mo., died Wednesday, July 26, 2009, at the Parkdale Manor Care Center in Maryville, Mo.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Aug. 29, at 20157 State Highway 46, in Skidmore, Mo.

Carl Martin Williams was born Dec. 7, 1939, in Omaha to Robert and Harriett (Kallvik) Williams.

He graduated from Tech High in Omaha, and served in the United States Navy.

On Oct. 8, 1988, he married Mary Kay Viles in Blair.

Mr. Williams worked for Lucent Technologies in Omaha, and was a member of the Clearmont (Mo.) Community Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Kay, of Skidmore; brothers, Donald Williams of Omaha and Rodger Williams, also of Skidmore, and sister, Cookie Fuls of Winter Park, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Susan G. and Ronald L. Jensen of Omaha, Anita Donahue of Springfield, Ohio, and Clyde C. Noyes Sr. of Craig; many nieces and nephews.
