Charles B. Williams, 81, of Bellevue died March 13, 1988, in an Omaha hospital following a short illness.

Born in Council Bluffs, he has lived his life in the Omaha area.

He served with the United States Army during World War II in the South Pacific.

Charles and his father founded and owned the Ever Tight Bolt Assembly Company, which manufactured bolts. For one bolt, they received an exclusive patent. The bolt was used in construction of wood bridges.

On June 11, 1938, he married Margaret Robertson in Blair. Mrs. Robertson is a Blair native.

Survivors include his wife, a sister-in-law, Mrs. John (Jeanette) Raduenz of Omaha, and a cousin, Mrs. John (Ellen) Waddingham of Council Bluffs.

Memorial services were held March 16, 1988, at Meyer Funeral Home Chapel in Council Bluffs.

Rev. Dr. E. A. Hering of St. John’s Lutheran Church officiated.

Inurnment in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
