Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 23, at First United Methodist Church in Blair for Jean Vinton, 66, who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair September 21, 1983. Dr. Gordon Patterson and the Rev. Sherry Sklenar will officiate.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon; one son, G. Richard Vinton, Blair; and two daughters, Mrs. Russ (Barbara) Randall and Mrs. Don (Susan) Stodola, both of Lawrenceville, Illinois. Six grandchildren; a brother, Bill Wilson, Blair; and one sister, Mrs. George (Harriett) Campbell, Blair, also survive her.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A more complete obituary will run later.

She married Gordon Vinton in Omaha on September 22, 1938.

Pallbearers were Bob Vinton, Bob Wilson, Pat Allen, Lloyd Petersen, Clair McKinnis and Roger Stricklett.
