Mrs. Charles Voss Rites To Be Saturday

Mrs. Anna C. Voss, wife of Charles Voss, well-known Washington farm couple, passed away at her home Tuesday January 19th. She was 63 years of age.

Mrs. Voss was born at Kennard January 27, 1896. She grew up in the Kennard vicinity and all of her married life had been spent on the farm southwest of Kennard which had been their home.

She had been in failing health for several years but became seriously ill Sunday evening, an illness from which she was unable to rally.

Mrs. Voss is survived by her husband, Charles, and by two sons and two daughters. The sons are Leroy Voss of Blair and Elmer Voss, of Fremont. The daughters include Miss Louise Voss who lived with her parents and Mrs. Johann Lauritsen of Missoula, Montana. There are seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Voss is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Voss of Blair, Mrs. Andrew Christiansen of Kennard and Mrs. Dora Puls of Omaha. There are three brothers. These are William F. Wiese of Omaha; Carl F. Wiese, also of Omaha and Hans Wiese, of Blair.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. at St. John’s Lutheran church in Bennington. Burial will be made in the German cemetery in the south part of Washington County. The Hayden Mortuary in Bennington is in charge of arrangements.
