Mrs. Bertha Wiese Voss Died September 27

Mrs. George Voss (Bertha T. Wiese) passed away September 27, at Kingsburg Manor in Lake Preston, South Dakota.

She was born December 25, 1893 at Kennard, Nebraska, to Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Wiese.

On September 30, 1914 she and George Voss were united in marriage at Blair. They farmed near Cavour, So. Dakota, until they retired in 1959 when they moved to De Smet, South Dakota and in 1974 they moved into the manor at Lake Preston.

Survivors are daughter, Mrs. Lionel (Francis) Anderson, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren all of De Smet, South Dakota; 1 daughter-in-law of Huron, South Dakota, 5 brothers, Clarence and Asmus Wiese of Blair, Arthur and Henry Wiese of Kennard, Rudy Wiese of Fort Calhoun and 1 sister, Dorothy Wiese of Kennard. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, July 30, 1975.

Funeral services were held October 1st at De Smet with interment in the Cavour, South Dakota Cemetery.
