Dennis E. Voss, 55, of Fremont, died May 22, 2008, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 27, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont. Interment was in the Kennard Cemetery.

Dennis E. Voss was born Jan. 1, 1953, in Fremont to Elmer and Delores Voss. He was baptized March 1, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont, and was confirmed May 7, 1967, also at Trinity.

He grew up in Fremont and was a 1971 graduate.

The funeral for Dennis E Voss, 55, of Fremont will be at 10 AM Tuesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont.

He died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

He was born Jan 1, 1953, in Fremont. He grew up in Fremont and was a 1971 graduate of Fremont High School. He previously worked at Valmont Industries for 11 years and then was employed at Midwest Industrial Tools, which is now Hartwig Inc in Omaha. He was owner of Parkview Cleaners and Midland Cleaners in Fremont. He married Pamela Townsdin on Nov 14, 1980, in Elk Point, SD. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 200 of Fremont and attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: his wife, a son, Jason Voss of Fremont; a daughter, JaDee Voss of Walnut Creek, CA; and his mother, Delores Voss of Fremont. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Voss, and an infant sister.

The Rev. Timothy Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-6 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with family receiving friends from 2-4 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Kennard Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Shrine Hospital and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
