Ervin Voss

Services for former Blair citizen, Ervin B. Voss, 60, of Fremont, who died August 19, 1985, in his home, are being held Thursday, August 22, in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Fremont, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Timothy J. Gierke is officiating and burial is to be in the Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Larsen-Peterson VFW Post No. 854 in conjunction with the Henry Teigler American Legion Post No. 20 of Fremont.

Voss was born July 20, 1925, the son of Ben and Rosa Voss of Blair. He married Naomi Newill on January 26, 1950, in Lyons. The couple moved from Blair to Fremont in 1952.

Voss was a member of the Blair Eagles, F.O.E. Aeyrie 3215. He was also a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Henry Teigler American Legion Post No. 20, both in Fremont.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Storleder of Foster, Nebr., and Mrs. Michael (Cheryl) Morrison of Mitchell, Nebr.; one brother, Martin Voss of Blair; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Lois) Skow of Reed Springs, Missouri; and five grandchildren.

The Bader-Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home of Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
