Services Are On Wednesday For Margaret Voss

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington for Margaret Voss who died June 1, 1980, at the Dodge County Hospital in Fremont. Prayer services will be at the Haden Golden Mortuary in Bennington Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in the German Cemetery.

Margaret Voss was born June 23, 1886. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto, and two daughters, Mrs. Vic (Bernice) Enger and Leona Marie Voss.

Survivors include one son, Clarence Voss of Fort Calhoun; four daughters, Mrs. Ann Knutzen, Omaha, Mrs. Clarence (Viola) Schneekloth, Fremont, Mrs. Arnold (Irene) Schmidt, Bennington and Mrs. Louis (Maxine) Nielsen, Kennard; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Rosie Christeansen of Blair; two brothers, Carl Wiese and Bill Wiese, both of Omaha; nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive her.

Pallbearers for the services will be Marvin Enger, Arlen Schmidt, Dennis Nielsen, Jerry Schmidt, Charles Greenfield and Don Cloyd.

Memorials may be sent to German Cemetery or St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington.
