Services for Alva E. (Pete) Wright were held on Friday, November 1, at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair. Mr. Wright died at the age of 84 at the Fremont Annex in Fremont, Nebraska.

Rev. John Fritzmeier officiated at the 2 p.m. services, with burial in the Kennard Cemetery.

Pete Wright was born on April 5, 1893 in Kennard, Nebraska. He was married to Verda Weaver who has preceeded him in death. Mr. Wright was in the well drilling and construction business.

Pete Wright is survived by two children, Sam Wright of Arlington, and Russell Wright of Bremerton, Washington. There is one stepson, Clyde Hansen Jr. of Aurora, Colorado, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Surviving brothers and sisters are: Cullen Wright of Roseberg, Oregon and Mrs. Roscoe Stewart of Omaha.
