Wife of Former Dana Professor Died Suddenly

Mrs. Nelson (Marian) Williams passed away on June 23rd in Boulder, Colorado. Mrs. Williams was the wife of a former Dana College Professor, Nelson G. Williams. The Williams family is currently making their home in Gainesville, Florida.

Mrs. Williams was visiting with her parents, Dr and Mrs. Robert Stemme, in Colorado, at the time of her sudden death. Mrs. Williams was 46 years old and died shortly after suffering a heart attack.

Mrs. Williams was buried in the family lots in Denver.

Marian is survived by her husband Nelson and their three daughters, Elizabeth, Margaret and Roberta. All are students at Gainesville, Florida. Marian devoted her adult life to teaching young children, and taught her last year at Prairie View School. She was an alumna of the College of Wooster, Ohio, and earned a master’s degree in early childhood education at the University of Florida.
