Harold S. Williamsen, 75

Harold S. Williamsen, 75, of Blair, died Oct. 23, 2008, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services were Oct. 27, 2008, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Harold S. Williamsen was born March 16, 1933, in Herman to Howard and Minnie (Nohrenberg) Williamsen. He graduated from Kennard High School in 1951 [1950]

On Jan. 3, 1953, he married Nancy Newell in Kansas City, Mo.

On April 27, 1953, he was drafted into the U.S. Army, and was discharged on April 26, 1955.

Mr. Williamsen worked for more than 40 years as a machinist for Vickers in Omaha.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mark E. and Mary Williamsen of LaVista, and Gary Williamsen, and Mike and Roxanne Williamsen, all of Blair; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother and sister-in-law, Lee Roy and Margaret Williamsen of Elkhorn; sister-in-law, Ila Newell of Omaha; two nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lorraine P. Luyendyk.

Memorials are suggested to the Washington County Veterans Tribute Plaza or the American Cancer Society.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
