Howard Williamsen Died Thursday At Blair Hospital

C. Howard Williamsen of 1943 Front Street died at the Blair Hospital Thursday, January 29th. The deceased was born at Admah, Nebraska in the northwest part of Washington County, on December 15th, 1901. He was 74 years of age at the time of his death.

He was a farmer all of his life until moving to Blair and retirement several years ago. The Williamsen farm was located southwest of Blair about four miles west of the Blair Cattle Company feed yards.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie and by two sons and a daughter.

The sons are Harold Williamsen of Blair and LeeRoy Williamsen of Omaha. The daughter is Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Luyndyke, of Kalamazoo, Michigan. There are six grandchildren.

A brother, Clarence Williamsen lives in Omaha. There are four sisters: Mrs. Gladys Wedergren, of Oakland, Nebraska; Mrs. Bessie Basier, of Hooper, Mrs. Marian Soner, of Omaha and Mrs. Joyce Martin, of Council Bluffs.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. The Rev, John Petersen conducted the services and burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pall bearers were Mark, Gary Lee, Michael S., Roger and Darrel Williamsen, and Mike Sener.

Honorary pallbearers were William F. Masters, Hubert W. Masters, Rolland Smith, Jr., Bob Wilkins, Gary Smith and Ernest Jensen.
