MRS. WILLIBY DIED THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9

Mrs. Bertha Williby, long time resident of 1163 Grant Street, died at Memorial Community Hospital last Thursday, December 9th. She was 83 years of age, having been born March 18, 1888 at Omaha. She had been hospitalized for several weeks.

Mrs. Williby is survived by two sons and four daughters, 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The sons are James Williby and William Williby, both of Blair. The daughters are: Mrs. William Eggison (Marveline) of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Alice Hibbs of Blair; Mrs. Harold Smith (Delores) of Blair and Mrs. Jack Bachman (Lois) of Blair.

Two brothers, Edward Nielsen and David Nielsen reside in Omaha. A sister, Mrs. Bud Walsh, lives in Omaha and a sister, Mrs. John Burns, lives at Denison, Iowa.

Funeral services are being held this (Monday) afternoon at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles H. Gates conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery. Pallbearers were all grandsons. They were Errol, Lanny and Gary Williby, LaRue and Larry Hibbs and William Smith.
