Gary L. Williby, 64, of Blair, died Friday, May 1, 2009, in Omaha.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at the First United Methodist Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Gary Lyle Williby was born Sept. 10, 1944, in Blair to Lyle and Daisy (Thompson) Williby. He was baptized and confirmed at the First United Methodist Church, and attended school in Blair.

On Feb. 15, 1964, he married Patricia McKinnis at the Baptist Church in Blair.

Mr. Williby’s greatest joys were spending time with his family and friends, camping, boating, fishing, or just sitting around visiting.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia; son and daughter-in-law, Les and Kellie Williby; daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Andy Andreasen; 10 grandchildren, Nathan, Craig, Brandon, Faith and Josh Andreasen, Camden and Tyler Williby, Lauren and Michael Olmstead, and Michelle Riley, all of Blair; one great-grandchild, Landon; brothers, Kent Williby of Omaha, Robert Williby of Blair; and his mother, Daisy Williby, also of Blair.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle, and brother, Galin.

Memorials are suggested to the Gary Williby Fund, % Two River Bank, or to the American Cancer Society.
