McCLELLAN LeROY WILLISON DIED DECEMBER 30TH

McClellan LeRoy Willison was born in Jackson County, Iowa, on June 28, 1864, and died at his home near Arlington, Nebraska, being 82 years, 6 months and 2 days old at the time of his death. On January 30,1899, he was united in marriage to Miss Emma Loges at Blair and to this union were born three children, John and Bertha living at home and Mrs. Lawrence Thompson of Valley. Mrs. Willison passed away on November 21, 1943. He leaves one brother, Hutchison of Valley. Mr. Willison lived on his own farm southeast of Arlington for 32 years. He was a good man, quiet in manner and respected by all who knew him. Funeral services were held at the Reckmeyer Funeral Chapel Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Otto Renard sang “Abide With Me” and “Jesus Saviour Pilot Me” with Mrs. Allen Laaker at the piano. Pallbearers were Glenn Masters, Lawrence Brown, Harry Wulf, John Lund, Otto Renard and Arthur Hamming. Interment was in the Arlington Cemetery.

ARLINGTON MAN, 82, DIED AT FARM HOME; TO NEBRASKA 50 YEARS AGO

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of the W. A. Reckmeyer Funeral Home in Arlington for McClelland L. Willison, 82, who died at his farm home southeast of Arlington.

Born June 28, 1864, in Jackson County, Ia., Mr. Willison was married to Emma L. Loges in 1899. He came to Nebraska over 50 years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Bertha, at home, and Mrs. Lawrence Thompson of Valley; and a son, John, at home. Mrs. Willison died in 1943.
