Neal Wilmot, 32

Services for Neal Wilmot, 32, of Omaha were held Wednesday, March 27, 1996, at First Christian Church in Blair. Burial was held at Albion, Neb. He died March 25 at Mercy Care Center in Omaha.

Neal Allen Wilmot was born Nov. 24, 1963, at Sioux City, Iowa, to Pastor Owen and Dorothy Case Wilmot.

He attended school at Huron, S.D., Carion, Iowa and graduated with the class of 1982 at Blair.

He was baptized at Clarion, Iowa, at age 11. He moved with his parents to Blair in 1978 and was active in the church singing group, “Skywatchers,” directed by Jane Chapman.

He attended college at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and Nebraska Christian College at Norfolk.

He worked in various positions in Omaha and his last employment was with Metropolitan Utilities District in information services.

He was a member of First Christian Church at Blair until he was moved to the Mercy Care Center. At that time, he transferred his membership to the Fort Street Christian Church in Omaha.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Owen Wilmot, in 1963.

Survivors include his parents, Pastor Owen and Dorothy Wilmot of Ames, Iowa; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Jim Cameron, a nephew, David Cameron, and a niece Jessica Cameron, all of Ames.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair was in charge of arrangements.
