KIN OF MRS. A.R. BEALES KILLED IN PLANE CRASH

Mr. James A. Williams of Santa Ana, California, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Williams of Wahoo, was killed in a plane crash when flying from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on Saturday morning, February 14th. He was a passenger in a private plane with two other attorneys, when it crashed into a Nevada mountain side.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lou, three sons, Rex, Eric and Mark at home, and a sister, Mrs. Ross Lamce of Davenport, Iowa. Also his grandmother, Mrs. Addie Beales of Blair. The late A.R. Beales was his grandfather. His mother is the former Audrey Beales.

Burial was on February 20th at Corona Del Mar, California. Memorial services will be held at the Congregational Church in Wahoo on March 8th at 4 p.m. It is requested that there be no flowers. Memorials may be made to a James Williams Scholarship Fund. Mrs. J. D. Little of Wahoo is the temporary Fund Chairman.

Mr. Williams received a Regents Scholarship to the University of Nebraska after graduating from the Wahoo High School. He graduated from the University College of Engineering. After three years as a Naval Officer, he enrolled in the George Washington Law School and graduated in 1964. He was a member of the Kendall and Anderson Law Firm in Santa Ana and was also the Associate Editor of “Law Review”.
