Clifford W. 'Cliff' Wulf, 81

Clifford W. "Cliff" Wulf, 81, of Arlington, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, at the Arlington Community Church in Arlington. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation will continue Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont with military graveside services by the American Legion Post 71 and V.F.W. Post 8332 of Arlington.

Clifford W. "Cliff" Wulf was born June 7, 1931, in Irvington to Paul and Christine (Japp) Wulf.

He grew up in the Kennard and Arlington areas and was a 1948 graduate of Kennard High School.

On December 18, 1952, he married Donna Mae Rosenbaum in Des Moines, Iowa.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from Aug. 11, 1952, to Aug 10, 1954.

Mr. Wulf had been employed at Hormel in Fremont until retiring on June 5, 1993.

After retirement, he worked at Michael's Jewelry and Gene Steffy's in Fremont.

He was a member of the Arlington Community Church.

Mr. Wulf was a 53-year member of the American Legion Post 71 of Arlington and a 33-year member of the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department. He previously served on the Arlington City Council Board. He also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 200 in Fremont and the Eagles Camping Club.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Darla Wulf of Arlington; daughter and son-in-law, Roxanne and Gene Witthuhn of Arlington; two grandchildren, Chad and wife, Jenny Witthuhn of Omaha and Eric Witthuhn of Fremont; and two great-grandchildren, Makenna and Kalia Witthuhn.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald P. Wulf; and sister-in-law, Rita Wulf.

Memorials may be directed to the Arlington Community Church and to the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department.
