LOIS V. SABALKA BURIED AT HERMAN LAST WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were held Wednesday for Lois V. Sabalka of 1652 Nebraska Street in Blair. Mrs. Sabalka, 71, had been a resident of the Herman area for many years. She was born October 19, 1902 in Herman. Her husband, Jacob Henry Sabalka died twenty years ago.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters. The sons are Leslie Dale Sabalka of Lincoln and Dean Russell Sabalka of Bonesteel, South Dakota.
The daughters are Mrs. Charles Neff (Ardith) of Blair and Mrs. Frank Cox (Janice) of Lincoln. There are 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Stanley Brunton, resides at Herman and there are three sisters who survive her. They are Mrs. Muriel Bring, of Lyons, Nebraska; Mrs. Edith McMahon of Lincoln and Miss Mildred Brunton of Lincoln.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Herman Baptist Church with the Rev. Zack Kleinsasser conducting the service. Burial was made in the Herman cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair.
