F. J. SALLMAN, 88, DIED JULY 5th

Funeral services for Mr. F. J. Sallman who died early in the morning on July 5 will be Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist Church in Blair, with Rev. Dale Westadt officiating. Burial will be at Shelby, Iowa, with Rev. Joseph Sibert of Brayton, Iowa, officiating at the graveside services.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Royal Haner (Esther) of Brayton, Iowa, and Mrs. Ralph Steyer (Frances) of Blair; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Sara Nieth, died five years ago.

Mr. Sallman was born at Shelby, Iowa, on July 3, 1873, and had celebrated his 88th birthday Monday. Before coming to Blair 11 years ago, he had been a resident of St. Paul, Nebraska, where he was in the Real Estate business. He was a resident of the Good Shepherd Home.

Pallbearers will be Herbert Hansen of Brayton, Iowa; Hal Haner of Newman Grove, Nebraska; Harold Steyer and Morton Steyer of Omaha; Waldo Kruse of Ft. Calhoun; and David Haner of Lincoln.
