WILLIAM SALSBURY TO BE BURIED ON TUESDAY

Graveside services for William Tennis Salsbury, 85, who died March 7, 1981, at Veteran’s Hospital are Tuesday, March 10, at 2 p.m., at the Blair Cemetery. Rev. Owen Wilmot is conducting the service.

William Tennis Salsbury was born November 30, 1895, in Denver, Colorado, to Charles Augusta and Sarah M. Epperly Salsbury. He was married to Helen Tammen, who survives him.

He farmed in the Blair area most of his life, but lived at Prosser, Nebraska at the time of his death. He was a World War 1 veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of Prosser, Nebraska; one daughter, Velma Boyce of Blair; and one son, William Salsbury, of Oxnard, California. Three stepchildren, Viola Colgan, Herman; Lawrence Tammen, Fairfield, Nebraska; and Velda Roberts, Kenesaw, Nebraska; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dick (Eliza) Barger and Mrs. Charles (Dora) Barger, both of Tekamah; and one brother, Glenn Salsbury, of Blair also survive him.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the service.
