ROBYNN JACKSON SALTZMAN, 25

Services were Saturday, July 6 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair for Robynn Jackson Saltzman, 25 who died July 3, 1991 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Rev. David LaPlante officiated. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Robynn Jackson Saltzman was born Sunday, November 14, 1965 to Bob and Nancy Jackson. She shared her childhood with a sister, Tracy and a brother, Rod.

She attended Blair High School and the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she was a dedicated athlete. She also shared many softball seasons in Blair with teammates who became her friends.

She was a quiet student of the order of nature and a hard worker. Her goals throughout her life respected the needs of others and were always met with integrity and cheerfulness.

Wild birds tamed to her gentle touch and children drew close to her.

She married Hunter Saltzman in Blair April 21, 1990. Their love was strengthened by adversity and they met, with the support of family and friends, the abrupt challenge of her fight for life with grace and conviction.

She exemplified courage, true faith and showed a sense of humor that affected the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Hunter; a sister, Tracy (Mrs. Mike) Payer of Pocahontas, Iowa; a brother, Rod of Omaha; her parents, Robert and Nancy Jackson of Omaha; her grandparents, Leonard and Marguerite Jackson of Omaha and a nephew, Chey Payer.
