SERVICES FOR NICKERSON MAN TO BE THURSDAY
Services for Lyle A. Sampson, 68, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at Warne Funeral Home.
Sampson, a retired employee of Transco Feed Products in Nickerson, died Monday in Fremont.
He was born on September 30, 1910, in Hooper and was a lifetime resident of this community.
He married the former Fern Mack on November 19, 1932, at Council Bluffs. She survives.
Sampson is survived by two sons, James of Santa Rosa, California; and Leonard, Fremont; a daughter, Mrs. Leon (Lila) Frazier, Fremont; brothers, Ray, Hooper; and Wayne, Nickerson; and six grandchildren.
The Rev. Jay Schmidt will officiate at services Thursday. Burial will be in Hooper Cemetery.
