SERVICES FOR DELBERT SAMSON HELD IN ELK CITY

Delbert Samson, 73, of near Valley died in an Omaha hospital, Wednesday, May 12.

Mr. Samson is well known in this area, living on the Dodge-Douglas County line south of Arlington. Mr. and Mrs. Samson’s farm was in the flood area and they had been living in an apartment in Valley until recently had moved back to their farm home.

Delbert had been in ill health for some time.

Survivors include his widow, Clarice Irene; three sons, Clayton and Duane, both of Valley and Ernest of Hooper. One sister, Mrs. Esther Bowers of Valley.

Ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

Burial was in Elk City cemetery.
