SERVICES HELD ON WEDNESDAY FOR LLOYD SAMSON

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 10, at 1 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home for Lloyd LaVerne Samson, 73, who died June 7, 1981, at his home at the Blair Marina.

Rev. Gordon Patterson conducted the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Lloyd LaVerne Samson was born August 5, 1907, at Valley, Nebraska, to Lee and Helen Babbel Samson. He was married to Lillie Fiscus.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie, of Blair; one son, Donald Samson, Blair; and three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Betty) Flynn, Blair; Mrs. Cliff (Lois) Sutherland, Omaha; and Mrs. Ruby Skinner, Vancouver, Washington. Sixteen grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren also survive him.

Pallbearers were Cass Sutherland, John Sutherland, Tommy Reynolds, Ron Samson, Scott Samson, Rick Samson, Bill Samson, Robert Flynn and Paul Skinner.

Katy Flynn was organist. Fernando Lecuona was vocalist.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
