Betty R. Olson, “Betty Boop,” 86, of Blair, died on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Community in Blair.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Chicago, Ill.
Betty Rose Fanzlaw was born June 17, 1926, in Oak Harbor, Ohio, to Charles and Hazel (Peters) Fanzlaw.
On June 21, 1947, she married Edward Olson in Chicago.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Donna Baker of Chicago, Mary Olson of Elkhorn and Kathy and Russell Sonderup of Blair; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Olson; son, Arthur Olson; daughter, Darlene Cole; granddaughter, Mari Sonderup; sister, Bernadine Nelson; and son-in-law, Donald Baker.
