Frank Wilson, 70, Retired Farmer Died Thursday

Frank Wilson, a lifetime resident of Washington County and a member of a pioneer family of this area, died at the Blair Hospital last Thursday, April 10th. He had been in failing health for a number of months.

Frank was born at Blair April 25, 1904 and was seventy years of age at his death. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Wilson and virtually all of his life was associated with the Wilson farm five miles west of Blair.

He retired several years ago and moved to Blair, although he and Mrs. Wilson had spent several winters in southern areas even before they left the farm. They built a new home in the Hillcrest Addition on South 24th Avenue where they have lived for nearly two years.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn and by three daughters. The daughters are Mrs. Eugene (Francis) Saville and Mrs. Eugene (Nancy) Wilkins, both of Blair, and by Mrs. Betty Dillon, of Seattle, Washington. There are 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church.

Funeral services were held at the First United Methodist Church Saturday afternoon, April 12th. The Rev. John Fritzmeier of the Congregational Church conducted the service.
