OBITUARY

Joseph Christ was born in Lurine, France, Nov. 26, 1845, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.F. Christensen at Herman, Feb. 26, 1915, at the age of 69 years and three months.

He came to America with his parents at the age of one year and they settled at Mascautab, Ill. He was married to Miss Anna Mouken, January 22, 1869, and to this union nine children were born, two dying in infancy.

In 1889 Mr. Christ and family moved to Nebraska. Three years later, Mrs. Christ died of pneumonia. Mr. Christ farmed until eight years ago when he retired and lived with his daughter until his death. He leaves to mourn his death seven children: Henry of Blair; _____ of Herman; Mrs. J.F. Christensen of Herman; Mrs. Wm. Rich____ of Arlington; and Miss Emma Christ of St. Louis, Mo. Two sisters, ____ton Wachter of Herman, and ______ Lena Worms of Bellevue, I______. One brother, Nicklos Christ are also left.
