LORI L. SAMUELSON, 45

Former Arlington resident Lori L. Samuelson, 45, of North Bend, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2003, at her daughter’s home in Fremont.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Sept. 17, at St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend. A rosary was held Tuesday evening, Sept. 16, at Moser Memorial Chapel. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery in North Bend.

Lori L. Samuelson was born Nov. 17, 1957, in Sioux City, Iowa, to John and Mary Samuelson. She grew up at Winnebago and North Bend and graduated from Winnebago High School. She was a graduate of Stewart’s School of Hair Styling. She lived in Fremont and was an over-the-road truck driver for LaBenz Trucking at Humphrey until 1997. She moved to North Bend in 2002.

In 1978, she married Kenneth Chvatal at Malmo. The couple later divorced.

She is survived by three sons, Johnathan Chvatal of Lincoln; and Jerad and Jacob Chvatal, both of North Bend; daughter, Heather Chvatal of Fremont; mother and stepfather, Mary Samuelson-Ring and Don Ring of North Bend; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Brad and Kim Samuelson of Shawnee, Kan., and Jeff and Jill Samuelson of Liberty, Mo.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Craig Wise of Boise, Idaho, and Paula and Greg Hines of Morse Bluff; grandmothers, Norma Samuelson of Spearfish, S.D.; and Daisy Schlotman of Parkville, Mo., a grandchild, Triston Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Samuelson, and a grandson, Trey Taylor.

Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend was in charge of arrangements.
