BERNADINE J. SANDERSON, 52

Bernadine J. Sanderson, 52, died Monday, May 14, 2007, at her home in Blair.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at First Christian Church in Blair.

Bernadine “Bernie” Jean Sanderson was born April 28, 1955, in Omaha.

She lived most of her life in Blair, where she graduated from Blair High School. She also attended Metropolitan Community College, which led her into the health care profession. She worked for more than 25 years as a transcriptionist at Memorial Community Hospital.

She enjoyed cross stitching, painting, sewing, camping, and gardening, enjoying her favorite movie, “Remember the Titans,” but most of all, she loved being with her family. She was loved by many and her love and zest for life will live on through her kindred spirit and all the lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Sanderson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert “Bob” and Shannon Harper, Kyle and Janice Harper; daughter and her fiancé, Tonia Harper and Troy Hekter; two stepchildren, Ashley and Brett Sanderson; parents, Jean and Robert Holderness; and five grandchildren and many dear friends.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bernie is survived by her husband, Gary; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Shannon Harper, Kyle and Janice Harper, all of Blair; daughter Tonia Harper and Troy Hekter of Logan, IA; 5 grandchildren, stepchildren, Ashley and Brett Sanderson of Blair; parents, Robert and Jean Holderness of Blair and sister and brother-in-law, LeAnn and Merle Meyers of Herman.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Friday, May 18, at the First Christian Church in Blair. There will be no visitation.
