LENORA M. SAPP, 80

Lenora M. Sapp, 80, died peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2009, in Carmel, Ind.

A funeral service was held Monday, June 8 at the Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel in Indianapolis.

Final services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, at Crosby-Kunold-Burket-Swanson Chapel, 11902 W. Center Road, in Omaha, with visitation one hour prior to services.

Lenora M. Bledsaw was born in Beatrice to Lloyd and Gladys Bledsaw, and graduated from Beatrice High School in 1946.

She had lived in Indiana for the past nine years where she was a member of Hazelldale Christian Church.

She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Wife of the late Ray Sapp, she often assisted in the family business, Sapp Bros. Truck Stops in Omaha and was affectionately known for her social coordinating, as well as her love for traveling, fitness, strawberry shakes and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

She is survived by her children, Jack Sapp of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Jim Sapp of Carmel; and Judy Moyer of Sun City West, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren, Julie, Keith, Lindsey, Ryan, Nicholas, Nathan, Christopher, Steven and Michelle.

In addition to her husband, Ray, she was preceded in death by a son, John Sapp.

Passed peacefully in Carmel, IN. Born in Beatrice, NE to Gladys and Lloyd Bledsaw. Lenora (Bledsaw) Sapp graduated from Beatrice High School in 1946. Lenora is the loving mother of Jack Sapp, Cheyenne, WY, Jim Sapp, Carmel, IN, Judy Moyer, Sun City West, AZ. Lenora is the grandmother of 9, Julie, Keith, Lindsey, Ryan, Nicholas, Nathan, Christopher, Steven and Michelle. Living in Indiana for the last 9 years, Lenora was a member of Hazelldale Christian Church and truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Wife of the late Ray Sapp, Lenora often assisted in the family business, Sapp Bros. Lenora is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Sapp; son, John Sapp.

Visitation Friday 9am with Funeral Service at 10am all at Colonial Chapel. Interment Voss Mohr Cemetery.
