Beulah E. Winter, 84

Nebraska native Beulah E. Winter, died Jan. 4, 2003, at the Community Health Hospital in San Mateo, Calif.

Beulah E. Winter was born Nov. 1, 1918, in Ruskin to Marius and Nellie Goldbeck. She was baptized at Bethany Lutheran Church in Ruskin.

The family moved to Blair, where she graduated from High School. She attended Dana College for a short while before moving to San Francisco, Calif., where she met and married Air Force Lt. Standford Winter. They raised their three daughters and ran a business in Millbrae.

Mrs. Winter attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Redwood City for many years. A memorial service will be held at the church.

She is survived by her three daughters, Jackie, Renais and Jenny and their husbands; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Willus Mundorf of Blair and their family; a nephew and niece and their families of York and Ruskin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, an older sister, and a younger brother, two nephew, Dennis Mundorf of Omaha, and Gary Mundorf of Los Angeles, and Jared Borsh of Omaha, the great-grandson of Bernice and Willlus Mundorf.

Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.
