Telbasta Lady Dies

Mrs. Carl Maurer Buried at West Point on Tuesday

The funeral services of Mrs. Louisa C. Maurer, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Blomker near Telbasta, last Saturday morning, were held on Tuesday afternoon at West Point. The deceased was a native of Lohne, Germany, where she was born April 25, 1862 as Louise Stronghohner. She was married to Carl Maurer in Germany and in 1882 they came to the United States. Several years were spent near West Point since which time the deceased has lived at Telbasta.

Close surviving relatives are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. John Schulzkamp, West Point; and Mrs. Blomker of Telbasta; and a son, Wm. Arnold, of West Point.
