Helen Wittig

Funeral services for Helen K. Wittig, 75, of Omaha, were held Monday, December 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha.

She was born January 29, 1910, in Herman. The former Helen Triplett was raised in the Herman vicinity. She worked at the Herman Post Office until she married Edward J. Wittig, on May 15, 1938. Mr. Wittig died in 1975.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, Ray and Mary Triplett and three brothers, Elzy, Howard and Floyd Triplett.

She is survived by her brother, Jack Triplett of Tekamah, Nebraska; and sisters, Mrs. Roscoe (Ann) Barton of Sun City, Arizona; Alice Lamb, Blair, Marian Brodersen and Mrs. Marvin (Donna Rae) Jordan of Herman and many nieces, nephews and friends.
