Services were Saturday, February 10 at First Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley, Iowa for Lorain Anna Wohlers, 80 of Missouri Valley, who died at her home February 7, 1990. Burial was in Grange Cemetery near Crescent, Iowa.

Lorain Anna Wohlers was born April 2, 1909 in Beebeetown, Iowa to M.T. and Anna M. Wohlers Christians. She married John J. (Jack) Wohlers March 27, 1937 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Honey Creek, Iowa.

She was a member of O.T.O. Club for 50 years, Happy 8 Card Club and St. Johns Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, John J. (Jack) Wohlers of Missouri Valley, Iowa; two sons and daughters-in-law, John D. and JoAnn Wohlers of Missouri Valley and Roger and Mary Wohlers of Yorba Linda, California; three grandsons; three granddaughters, three great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; one brother, Alvin Christians of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and five sisters, Gladys Yankey of Missouri Valley, Ann Dahl of Omaha, Evelyn Clark of Crescent, Maine Copple of Logan and Alice Costa of Council Bluffs.

Hennessey-Van Cleave-Hurley Funeral Home in Missouri Valley was in charge of arrangements.
