Mrs. Verna Wollen of Fremont, formerly of the Bennington and Elkhorn areas, passed away at the age of 71 years on Friday, August 17, 1984, at the Dodge County Memorial Hospital in Fremont. The daughter of Henry and Hannah (Schmidt) Ohm, Mrs. Wollen was born on July 8, 1913 in Yutan, Nebraska and lived on a farm near Bennington for 41 years. She married Harvard Wollen on January 15, 1936 at Omaha, Nebraska and in 1977 the couple moved to Fremont. Mr. Wollen preceded her in death on May 25, 1983.
