Lula Wolsmann, 103

Funeral services for Lula Wolsmann, 103, of Blair, were held Monday, Oct. 13, 2003 at First Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Wolsmann died Friday, Oct. 10, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Lula Wolsmann was born Dec. 6, 1899, in Spiker to Peter and Anna Andersen. On Dec. 6, 1921, she married Ditlof Wolsmann.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Blair. In the late 1930’s, she worked as an office assistant for Dr. Robert Donnely. Later, she was employed at the Blair Laundry and, until her retirement, worked at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.

She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn (Wolsmann) Rasmussen of Treasure Island, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Marie Nielsen and Ada Andersen, both of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Robert; and eight brothers and sisters.

Memorials are suggested to First Lutheran Church or Crowell Memorial Home.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
