A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at First Lutheran Church in Blair for Robert E. Wolsmann, 70 of Silver Hill, Ala. and formerly of Blair who died Jan. 22, 1997.

Robert E. was a retired Mutual of Omaha corporate pilot.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ditlof Wolsmann.

He is survived by his wife, Rosita of Silver Hill; his mother, Lula of Blair; a sister, Marilyn Rasmussen of Treasure Island, Fla.; daughters, Cheryl Sudman of Bedford, Tex.; Teri Ellis of Omaha; step-daughters, Diana Crandall of Eugene, Ore.; Carrlyn Miller of Austin, Tex.; Jann Childers of Kissimmee, Fla. And Kim Nixon of Wichita, Kans.; a son, Robert E., Jr. of Omaha; step-son Jon Rodriguez of Wichita, Kans.; and 17 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at First Lutheran Church in Blair.
