James W. Wright, 91, Died Tuesday At Crowell Home

James W. Wright; a lifetime resident of Washington County died Tuesday, October 18th at Crowell Memorial Home, in Blair where he had made his home for several years.

The deceased was 91 years of age, having been born, February 6, 1886 at Kennard, Nebraska. He had been in business many years. At one time he managed a Chevrolet Agency at Sioux City and later operated a Coast to Coast store at Tekamah. Most recently, prior to his retirement, he had been in the real estate business in Blair.

He was married to Helen Bess Wilcox at Leeds, Iowa on April 5th, 1911. He is survived by his wife and by a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Bodenstedt, of South Sioux City, Nebr. A granddaughter, Mrs. Marilyn Rethwisch, resides at Wayne. There are three great- grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers. Peter of Elkhorn, Nebraska and Cullen, of Oregon. A sister, Mrs. Mabel Stewart, lives in Omaha.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon October 20. The Rev. Gordon Patterson will be in charge of the service and burial under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home, will be made in the Kennard Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sam Wright, Henry Paulsen, Ray Wright, Harold Wilcox, Dennis Cole and John Gallagher.

Funeral services will be at the Methodist Church in Blair.
