Arthur Schneider Buried At Calhoun

Funeral services were held at Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church, Omaha, Nebraska, on Wednesday, October 19, 1956, at 1:30 P.M. for Mr. Arthur A. Schneider, R.R. 2, Omaha, Nebraska, who died Sunday, October 16, 1960 at the age of 60.

Mr. Schneider was born on a farm near Bennington in Washington County on September 9, 1900, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Peter Schneider.

In 1911 he moved with his parents from Washington County to Rosalie, Nebraska, returning to this area in 1924.

On February 24, 1926, Mr. Schneider was united in marriage with Miss Celia Iversen of near Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, at her home.

To this union was born one son and one daughter.

Mr. Schneider engaged in farming practically his whole lifetime, spending the past 34 years on the present farm.

Mr. Schneider was confirmed in St. John’s Lutheran Church of Bennington, Nebraska in 1950.

Mr. Schneider was preceded in death by his mother and father, 3 brothers and his daughter Jeanine who passed away in 1952 the result of polio.

He is survived by his wife, Celia, one son, Dean, and 3 brothers, Rhynold of Bancroft, Walter ofFalls Minnesota and Bernard of Rosalie, Nebraska.

Burial was at Fort Calhoun.

Arthur Schneider Buried In Calhoun

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Kuntz Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha for Arthur A. Schneider, 60 years of age, a farmer in the Wranch School District. Interment followed in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Schneider died suddenly at his home Sunday. He is survived by his wife, Celia, a son of Bancroft, Nebraska, Walter of Zumbra, Minnesota, and Bernard of Rosalie, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by a daughter Jeanine, who died in 1952 of polio.

Mr. Schneider was born in 1900 on a farm near Bennington, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hans Peter Schneider. In 1911 he moved with his parents to Rosalie, returning to Washington County in 1924. In 1926 he married Cecil Iverson, daughter of Mrs. Bertha Iverson. They have lived on the same farm in the Wranch School District since 1925.
