R. SAUERMAN DIED AT AGE 30
Roxann Heger Sauerman, age 30, died of a heart attack at her home in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday, September 8. She is survived by her husband Robert Sauerman and one son, Max; her mother and stepfather, Verda and Clifford Swanson; and sister Maurya (Mrs. Carl) Schmeizel, all of Des Moines; and sister Amy (Mrs. Carl) Parker of Rodondo Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis F. Heger, Jr.
Survivors in this area include her grandmother, Mrs. Anna M. Andersen and aunt, Clarice Andersen of Blair; uncle Alvin Andersen of Washington; aunt, Mrs. LaVonne Auch of Bennington; uncle Deryl Heger of Gretna; and a number of cousins.
Roxann Heger was born at Fremont, Nebraska, December 9, 1953. She was a graduate of Drake University and a teacher in the Des Moines school system.
Memorial services will be conducted at Grace Lutheran Church in Des Moines on Tuesday, September 11. Graveside services and internment will be at Prairie View Cemetery south of Kennard at noon Wednesday, September 12.
